Job Description:
  • Analyze portfolio companies in the Watchlist and Special Assets portfolio, identifying key value drivers and recovery options.
  • Support restructurings, recapitalizations, financings, and other capital solutions.
  • Assist with turnarounds by improving business plans, operational performance, and governance.
  • Conduct due diligence and re-underwrite new capital commitments.
  • Evaluate opportunistic investments in complementary businesses.
  • Support management and board recruitment and incentive plan development.
  • Oversee investment exits via refinancing, secondary sales, or M&A.
  • Coordinate with external advisors on active transactions.
  • Prepare investment memoranda, reports, and analyses for senior leadership and committee meeting.

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years relevant experience, or MBA with 3+ years post-MBA.
  • Experience in private credit, private equity, or restructuring advisory preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with distressed companies and turnarounds.
  • Ability to perform due diligence, evaluate business models, and identify operational improvements.
  • Experience working with senior management of portfolio companies.
  • Knowledge of credit and restructuring documents, and familiarity with U.S. bankruptcy processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with loan operations for distressed portfolios.
