Job Description:
- Originate and manage relationships that drive investment opportunities in the lower middle market.
- Lead the investment process, including idea generation, underwriting, negotiation, execution, and exit strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate and structure investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with company management teams, sponsors, and other key market participants.
- Provide strategic input on portfolio management and capital allocation decisions.
- Mentor and develop junior team members in deal execution and origination.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Proven track record in private equity, investment banking, credit, management consulting, or other highly analytical roles.
- Strong academic and professional performance demonstrating excellence and rigor.
- Ownership mentality with the ability to manage and coordinate all aspects of the investment process.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with sponsors, management teams, and senior leadership.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience with lower middle market investments preferred but not required.
