Job Description:
- Partner directly with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, risk teams, and fellow engineers to build software core to daily investment operations
- Build, test, and ship high-performance risk analytics services and user-facing applications using C#/.NET, Python, gRPC, and React
- Own the design and implementation of equity factor-risk analytics features, prioritizing scalability and performance
- Build validation, reconciliation, and monitoring systems that keep risk calculations accurate and consistent across data sources
- Architect and tune .NET/C# services for scale, with attention to memory footprint, parallelization, and profiling
- Guide technical design conversations, mentor fellow engineers, and shepherd projects from requirements through launch
- Use modern AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity while maintaining clean, well-structured code
- Work across data platforms including Snowflake and ClickHouse
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline
- Background in finance, with equities experience especially valued
- Strong depth in at least one object-oriented language, either C# or Java
- Familiarity with Python, AWS, MSSQL, Snowflake, and ClickHouse
