Job Description:
- Build and maintain the APIs, databases, and infrastructure powering a growing suite of applications
- Partner with Product and Engineering (Frontend, Data Platform, Infrastructure) to scope and ship high-performance features
- Own and evolve a scalable backend architecture strategy built to last for years, not quarters
- Collaborate cross-functionally in an Agile environment using modern project management practices
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience at a startup, financial institution, or tech company
- Strong Python fundamentals, especially with FastAPI
- Solid working knowledge of GraphQL and REST API design
- Comfort with databases and data warehouses
- Hands-on DevOps experience, including CI/CD and QA practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Self-directed, with strong communication skills bridging technical and non-technical teams
