A leading investment platform has an immediate opening for an AVP/VP-level accountant. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of key accounting and reporting responsibilities within a dynamic and growing team.

Job Description:
  • Manage monthly and quarterly close for General Partner (GP) entities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review GP profit and loss statements, partner capital accounts, and allocation schedules.
  • Calculate and monitor carried interest, vesting, and other GP-level economics.
  • Lead preparation of GP financial statements and support audits and tax reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements for GP accounting and reporting.

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of accounting experience, focused on partnership and GP accounting within alternatives.
  • Experience in private equity, private credit, insurance/reinsurance, or complex partnership structures.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, partnership accounting, allocations, and GP economics.
  • Advanced Excel and accounting/reporting system skills; Allvue experience is a plus.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities and confidential information.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders.
