Job Description:
- Reconcile positions, cash, and activity across prime brokerage and custody accounts on a daily basis
- Resolve trade breaks and fails by coordinating with Front Office teams and executing brokers
- Confirm daily trades with counterparties to ensure accuracy and timely settlement
- Process corporate actions (mandatory and voluntary) across a range of asset classes
- Manage lifecycle events for positions including options expirations, coupon payments, and ABS resets
- Support settlement and confirmation processes for exchange-traded and derivative products
- Reconcile counterparty positions and cash activity across OTC and structured products such as swaps and FX
- Liaise with fund administrators to ensure trades are properly confirmed, recorded, and settled
- Assist with reconciliation and processing of private placement and other contractual investments
- Maintain accurate records of trade activity and ensure adherence to operational controls and procedures
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1+ years of experience in fund operations, accounting, audit, or a related finance role
- Strong academic background with a 3.5 GPA or higher required
- Experience working with fund clients or within an investment management environment required
- Familiarity with trade settlement, reconciliations, and trade lifecycle processes
- Exposure to fixed income, derivatives, or other complex financial instruments preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and external counterparties
- Proficiency with financial systems and tools used for reconciliations and trade processing preferred
