Job Description:
- Provide overall leadership of the Americas Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, payment execution, vendor onboarding and management, and account reconciliations.
- Establish and maintain robust AP policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
- Champion automation and continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Serve as a key point of contact for vendors, internal business partners, and external auditors.
- Oversee timely and accurate month-end and year-end close activities related to Accounts Payable.
- Track and analyze KPIs and service-level metrics, preparing regular reporting for senior management.
- Partner closely with Procurement, Treasury, and Technology teams to ensure alignment of AP operations with broader financial and operational objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a geographically distributed team of Accounts Payable professionals.
- Remain current on regulatory developments, tax considerations, and industry trends impacting Accounts Payable operations.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 10+ Years of Accounts Payable Experience from a Financial Services firm.
- Bachelors Degree Required.
