Job Description:
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial statements and monthly and weekly reporting
- Monitor and review third-party property management accountants, including monthly accounting packages
- Track, reconcile, and monitor daily fund cash activity
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate reconciling items
- Initiate, record, and confirm wire transfers for invoices, property closings, and investor distributions
- Accrue and process payments for property taxes and insurance
- Correspond with loan servicers and provide required financial reporting to lenders
- Calculate and process fund management fees
- Maintain investor allocation schedules and prepare capital calls and distributions
- Prepare and review quarterly investor statements and other ad hoc investor reporting
- Assist with fund-level budgeting and forecasting
- Support the annual audit and tax compliance process
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 2+ Years of Audit (with Fund clients) or In-House Real Estate or Private Equity Fund, Management Company, or Property Accounting Experience
- CPA or Parts Passed Highly Preferred
- NYC 5x a Week
