Job Description:
  • Develop and maintain media relationships; handle proactive and reactive media outreach and inquiries.
  • Draft, edit, and review communications materials including press releases, messaging documents, Q&A, op-eds, and web/social copy.
  • Support the development and execution of social media and content campaigns (primarily on LinkedIn).
  • Conduct in-depth research on clients, competitors, and relevant industry trends.
  • Monitor and summarize relevant media coverage and provide insights to clients and internal teams.
  • Coordinate client deliverables, timelines, and communication flow between team members and external partners.
  • Contribute to broader firm initiatives including branding, website projects, thought leadership, and events.

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate/strategic communications, public relations, financial services, journalism, or a related field.
  • Understanding of the financial markets, investment management, and the broader business landscape.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling language.
  • Strong research, organizational, and project management skills with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines across multiple projects.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and sound judgment.
  • Experience managing or supporting client relationships directly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and comfort navigating social and digital platforms.
  • Experience in media relations, including drafting pitches, handling reporter outreach, or coordinating interview logistics.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, email campaigns, and/or design platforms.
  • Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to streamline research, writing, and workflow tasks.
  • Familiarity with SEO, analytics, or CMS platforms such as Webflow or WordPress.
