Job Description:
The Senior Reporting Associate will direct and oversee the financial reporting activities of all of the investments, analyzing quarterly reports, and research and oversight of all investment activity and investment and investor communications.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees Financial and Investment Reporting department functions.
- Works with other department teams to monitor reporting and investments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Research, interpret and communicate the investment quarterly and annual financial statements and reports to management
- Maintain a thorough investment database to analyze all underlying portfolio companies
- Perform analytical analysis of the investments (benchmarking to market indices and public comparables and trend analysis)
- Prepare quarterly underlying reports (including bottom-up analysis)
- Establish and maintain relationships with private equity fund managers and various third parties
- Assist on technology initiatives and automation projects to enhance portfolio monitoring, analysis and reporting
- Maintain data integrity on information gathered
- Review entries of investment activities of alternative investments
- Prepare quarterly investor, management and regulatory reports
- Set up, compile and prepare cash flow forecast
- Prepare investment summaries and updates to senior management
- Respond to investor requests / questions
- Various special projects and ad hoc requests
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in business administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
- Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
- Six to eight years of experience in financial management required.
Total Compensation up to $275,000
