Job Description:
- Support controllers in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Perform weekly cash and bank reconciliations
- Record expense accruals and analyze key account balances
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and work with external auditors
- Prepare regulatory filings for international entities
- Conduct forecasts and ad hoc financial analysis
- Enhance and automate reporting within the general ledger
- Review outstanding balances and coordinate with fund accounting teams
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 1+ years of Big 4 experience (funds or banking clients) or management company accounting experience
- CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
- Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Ability to analyze large data sets and support management reporting
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Willingness to work in-office in NYC 4x per week
