Job Description:
- Lead and mentor the global management company accounting team through a major modernization effort
- Standardize global accounting policies and drive automation to reduce manual workflows
- Oversee global accounting operations, ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting under U.S. GAAP
- Manage the global consolidation of operating entities across multiple jurisdictions
- Lead annual financial statement audits and enforce strong internal controls
- Oversee payroll tax compliance, regulatory filings, and the global Accounts Payable function
- Partner with Firm Finance and FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in asset management, private equity, or alternative investments
- Prior experience leading management company accounting within an investment firm
- Deep knowledge of management fee revenue recognition, multi-entity global consolidations, and U.S. GAAP / IFRS
- Experience managing accounting teams across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience leading finance process transformation and automation initiatives
- Strong ERP (D365) and systems expertise
