Job Description:
– Manage monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and consolidations.
– Maintain accurate general ledgers, trial balances, and supporting financial schedules.
– Review investment positions, operating expenses, capital activity, and cash movements.
– Perform variance analysis against forecasts and historical results and communicate key performance drivers.
– Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, and management reporting packages.
– Support quarterly and annual reporting processes and coordinate external audits.
– Partner with investment, operations, and actuarial teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
– Oversee third-party service provider deliverables and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting workflows.
Requirements / Qualifications:
– 1–4 years of public accounting experience, ideally serving financial services clients across alternative investments, banking and capital markets, or real estate.
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Strong understanding of US GAAP and core accounting principles.
– Experience with financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end or quarter-end close processes.
– Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
– Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– CPA not required.
– Must be authorized to work in the United States without H-1B sponsorship.
