Job Description:
- Own the front office compensation process — deal term management, monthly accrual calculations, and year-end compensation
- Serve as the firm’s expert on FO deal structures, including tiered slopes, multi-fund arrangements, trailer fees, guaranteed bonuses, and carry calculations
- Maintain a tracker of FO contractual obligations, payout schedules, and deferred compensation milestones
- Produce quarterly PM compensation statements and manage direct PM queries and alignment
- Lead the year-end compensation process end-to-end across Finance, HR, and front office teams
- Support cross-Finance analytics, PM onboarding profitability modelling, and the firm’s evolving pass-through framework
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in a Front Office / PM Compensation function at a buy-side or sell-side firm (investment bank experience with relevant PM/FO compensation exposure is acceptable)
- Deep quantitative and analytical capability; able to independently manage complex, formulaic compensation and economics modelling
- Knowledge of FO deal structures in a multi-strategy or pod-based environment — including slope structures, multi-fund arrangements, deferred compensation, and carry
- Excellent communication skills; able to engage credibly with Portfolio Managers and senior leadership
- Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with Snowflake, Python, or similar data tools is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
