Job Description:
- Research, analyze, and document accounting conclusions for complex and non-routine transactions under U.S. GAAP
- Prepare and maintain accounting memoranda supporting technical positions and policy decisions
- Monitor and help implement new and emerging accounting standards and regulatory guidance
- Partner across Finance, Treasury, Legal, Tax, and Operations to evaluate accounting implications of strategic initiatives and new products
- Support quarterly and annual financial reporting, including technical accounting disclosures
- Assist with external audit requests and discussions on significant accounting matters
- Develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and governance
- Provide technical accounting guidance and mentorship within the Finance organization
- Participate in special projects, including acquisitions and system implementations
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Strong technical accounting expertise, including U.S. GAAP
- 6+ years of experience.
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience partnering across Finance, Treasury, Legal, and Operations teams
- Experience supporting financial reporting and audit processes
