Job Description:
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and third parties
• Perform 3-way match processes and reconcile AP ledgers to ensure all bills and payments are properly posted
• Review and verify supporting documentation to ensure compliance with internal controls and payment policies
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies by reconciling vendor statements and researching payment issues
• Prepare payment runs and supporting documentation for management approval
• Generate AP reporting, payment analyses, and financial status reports for leadership
• Monitor AP inbox for invoices, vendor inquiries, statements, and new vendor setup requests
• Oversee company-wide T&E expense reporting through Workday
• Support AP process improvements, policy implementation, and system enhancements
• Supervise temporary AP staff, including timesheet approvals and day-to-day oversight
Requirements / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable processes, and financial controls
• Experience with AP compliance requirements including W-9s, sales tax, and vendor documentation
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Workday or similar accounting platforms
• Advanced Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of leadership
• Experience working with vendor management and outsourced providers preferred
• Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment
