Job Description:
- Perform risk-based reviews of operational processes and internal controls across enterprise functions
- Support documentation of key processes, risks, and controls in alignment with internal control frameworks
- Execute SOX control testing for registered investment vehicles and coordinate with external auditors and process owners
- Investigate control issues, support escalation, and assist in remediation efforts
- Participate in enterprise risk assessments and evaluate controls related to new products and technology initiatives
- Liaise with co-sourced providers and contribute to global audit and advisory engagements
- Prepare presentation materials and reporting for senior management and internal stakeholders
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Big 4 audit experience (funds or banking clients) or internal audit experience within a fund or bank
- Experience with internal controls, risk-based auditing, and SOX testing preferred
- If coming from internal audit, must have corporate audit experience
- Strong understanding of operational risk, control frameworks, and audit processes
- Experience working with or alongside external auditors and co-sourced providers
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, institutional investment environment
