Job Description:
• Oversee fund accounting and financial reporting across multiple private credit fund structures, including SPVs
• Review and approve month-end closes, allocations, accruals, and management/incentive fee calculations
• Manage valuation reviews and coordinate with third-party administrators to resolve discrepancies
• Oversee audit processes and review financial statement preparation
• Support regulatory and statutory reporting requirements
• Prepare internal reporting related to AUM, revenue, and performance metrics
• Review borrowing base activity, treasury functions, and cash management processes
• Partner cross-functionally with legal, compliance, tax, operations, and portfolio management teams
• Review fund documentation related to launches and amendments
• Oversee junior team members responsible for accounting records and monthly reporting
Requirements / Qualifications:
• 6+ years of Big 4 audit and/or private fund accounting experience
• Direct credit fund experience required
• CPA required or all parts successfully completed
• Strong academic track record with top performance ratings
• Deep understanding of private fund accounting and financial reporting
• Experience managing audits, valuations, and fund administrator relationships
• Strong systems proficiency; alternative investment platform experience preferred
• Ability to work onsite in NYC 4x per week
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
