Job Description:
- Oversee all accounting and tax for the hedge fund and feeders
- Oversee fund administrator
- Opportunity to support traders and sit on the desk
- P&L oversight, performance analytics, and troubleshoot issues
- Oversee trade breaks
- Oversee cash movement/margin calls
- Management Co and GP Accounting and Tax
- Provide annual budget to partners with intimate understanding of firmwide costs
- Help with technology automation and streamlining
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 6+ years of accounting/finance experience within hedge funds, asset management, or financial services
- Strong understanding of fund accounting, financial reporting, and investment operations
- Experience overseeing or reviewing work performed by third-party fund administrators
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a newly created, high-impact role
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Comfortable working directly with senior leadership in a small, collaborative team environment
- CPA or advanced accounting credentials strongly preferred
