Job Description:

Fund Controller to take responsibility for the accounting oversight of a new interval fund launch! This role will report to the firm’s CFO and work closely with operations to ensure accurate NAV calculations and reporting.

  • Oversee all aspects of fund accounting, including daily NAV striking, expense accruals, and financial statement preparation.
  • Coordinate with the fund administrator to validate pricing, allocations, and fee calculations.
  • Prepare regulatory and investor reports, and shareholder disclosures.
  • Support audits, tax filings, and board reporting packages.
  • Develop and refine internal accounting policies for interval fund structures.
  • Partner with operations to ensure synchronized processes and operational continuity.
  • Serve as a resource on interval fund tax, GAAP, and SEC reporting matters.

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • CPA preferred; bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 6–8 years of fund accounting experience, with at least 3–4 years specifically in interval or 1940 Act fund accounting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP for investment companies.
  • Experience working with external fund administrators and audit/tax providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead accounting functions and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
