Job Description:
- Execute daily pricing across listed products, structured products, derivatives, and FX to ensure valuation accuracy.
- Review and validate front office pricing models, providing sign-off from a valuation control perspective.
- Partner with Accounting to confirm month-end and quarter-end pricing sign-off.
- Perform independent price testing, resolve tolerance breaks, and monitor vendor price challenges.
- Liaise with Trading, Accounting, IT, and other internal teams to ensure timely and accurate pricing and P&L reporting.
- Analyze market data from brokers, counterparties, and vendors to reconcile and verify valuations and profit/loss calculations.
- Manage financial instrument setup and maintenance through security master data systems.
- Reconcile and validate data elements—such as interest accruals, FX conversions, and principal balances—across internal systems.
- Support client onboarding and coordinate with Compliance, Accounting, and Regulatory teams to ensure accurate fund and instrument data creation.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in pricing and financial instrument data management.
- Strong understanding of securities pricing, market data, and valuation controls.
- Experience with pricing and security master systems; familiarity with Charles River Development (CRD), Bloomberg, and VPM preferred.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including use of complex functions.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot and deliver with full accuracy under tight timelines.
