Job Description:
• Evaluate and underwrite new investment opportunities across consumer whole loans.
• Develop cash flow models and analyze the fundamental drivers of credit performance.
• Evaluate and optimize capital structures across potential investment opportunities.
• Model levered and unlevered investment returns under various structures and scenarios.
• Assess pricing and credit risk and present investment recommendations to senior investment professionals.
• Monitor portfolio performance relative to original underwriting expectations.
Requirements / Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree or higher from a strong finance or STEM program.
• 1–4 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, or ABS investing with an emphasis on quantitative analysis and structuring.
• Strong cash flow modeling and analytical skills.
• Understanding of structured finance, including warehouse lending and ABS securitizations.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, fixed income, credit risk, and related financial concepts.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• CFA charter or progress toward completion preferred.
