Job Description:
- Screen potential investment opportunities, including attending meetings with operating partners and traveling to evaluate new deals.
- Prepare underwriting models and market research summaries for investment committee meetings.
- Lead and coordinate due diligence on prospective acquisitions, including financial, legal, and market review.
- Assist in managing existing investments, including monitoring market performance, refinancings, and dispositions.
- Prepare investor reporting and presentation materials, including fund updates and deal level summaries.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of experience, preferably in investment banking or private equity.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Real estate experience preferred.
- Self starter who thrives in a lean, fast paced environment with significant individual responsibility.
