Job Description:
- Building and maintaining financial models to assess investment opportunities, valuations, and returns
- Conducting in-depth research on companies, industries, and assets to evaluate risks and opportunities
- Analyzing market trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscapes to inform investment strategies
- Preparing presentations and reports for internal teams and investment committees
- Assisting in structuring, negotiating, and executing transactions, including liaising with legal and financial advisors
- Tracking and analyzing the performance of existing investments and providing recommendations for optimization
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (MBA or CFA a plus)
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, distressed debt, special situations, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and credit analysis using Excel
- Understanding of distressed debt, special situations, and opportunistic credit strategies
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities with a keen eye for identifying risks and opportunities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg; familiarity with financial databases a plus.
