Job Description:
- Generate and underwrite investment ideas across emerging markets corporate and sovereign credit.
- Identify idiosyncratic and catalyst-driven opportunities across long/short and long-only strategies.
- Conduct fundamental issuer-level credit analysis alongside macroeconomic and country-level research.
- Independently initiate, size, and manage positions across varying market environments.
- Drive security selection and contribute to overall portfolio construction.
- Actively manage investment risk, including position sizing, downside analysis, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
- Present investment theses and portfolio recommendations to senior investment leadership.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 8–15 years of relevant investment experience.
- Deep expertise across emerging markets credit, including corporate and/or sovereign debt.
- Demonstrated experience putting on and actively managing risk in a hedge fund environment.
- Proven investment track record across credit markets.
- Strong fundamental credit analysis and macroeconomic research capabilities.
- Ability to independently generate investment ideas and manage positions from inception through exit.
- Experience with portfolio construction, position sizing, and risk management.
- Ability to operate effectively within a performance-driven investment environment.
