Job Description:
  • Provide tax advisory support related to fund investments, including analysis of dividend, interest, and capital gains tax considerations across U.S. and international jurisdictions
  • Partner with investment professionals to develop and implement tax-efficient structures
  • Advise on tax matters related to ownership and operations of management entities and partners across federal, state, local, and international jurisdictions
  • Partner cross-functionally with fund accounting, investor accounting, and financial reporting teams to gather data for tax reporting
  • Prepare U.S. and international tax returns for funds, management entities, and partners
  • Manage tax depreciation processes for management entities
  • Oversee Form 1099 and Form 1042 reporting
  • Monitor ASC 740 tax exposures and support annual audit reporting requirements
  • Support special projects including process improvement, documentation, and tax data analysis
  • Partner with internal technology teams to enhance tax systems and reporting capabilities
  • Stay current on tax developments through collaboration with external advisors

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of Tax Experience (3+ years at the manager-level)
  • 3.5+ GPA
  • Fund Tax Experience Required
  • Dallas, Texas 5x per week
