A prominent, New York–based investment firm has an immediate opening for a Senior Fund Accountant. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and take ownership of fund administration and reporting in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Job Description:
- Lead fund-level financial reporting, including management, investor, regulatory, and third-party reporting
- Partner with outsourced accounting and tax providers to ensure accurate fund and management company accounting
- Oversee capital activity (capital calls, distributions, commitments), investor allocations, and notice
- Prepare liquidity and cash flow analyses to support capital planning and treasury operations
- Review management fees, carried interest and waterfall models, partner allocations, and capital accounts
- Manage investor onboarding, CRM and portal maintenance, and ongoing investor communications and reporting
- Oversee regulatory filings and compliance (e.g., Form ADV)
- Manage quarterly and annual financial statements under US GAAP and coordinate external audits
- Review fund governing documents, side letters, and partnership agreements
- Support special projects and ad hoc initiatives for senior leadership
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related experience in private equity fund accounting, fund administration, or public accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
