Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Corporate FP&A Analyst/Associate that will play a key role in creating financial models, analyzing KPIs and financial trends, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and generating financial reports to support management decision-making and strategic initiatives. The successful individual must be able to analyze and interpret data to draw out insights and drive change.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
- Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
- Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, management reporting, or advisory services experience preferred
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field with a strong academic record
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and quantitative skills to develop trends and margin improvements
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting
- Ability to leverage business intelligence tools and other technologies to improve visibility and efficiency (e.g., Macabacus, PowerBI or Tableau)
- Aptitude and experience using MS Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Works well in a dynamic environment and handles multiple projects while prioritizing deliverables and meeting deadlines
- Team player with ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Must be detail-oriented, motivated and highly organized
Familiarity with AI tools and technologies (e.g., machine learning models, predictive analytics, or automated financial systems) and their application in financial analysis, forecasting, or reporting.
