Job Description:
A global, vertically-integrated real estate firm with several well-known properties and projects throughout NYC and internationally.
This role will report directly into the CAO, covering property-level accounting (office, retail, industrial, commercial, etc.), capital expenditure reporting, outsourced accounting teams, financial reporting, operational accounting, budgets, FP&A, and various other ad hoc responsibilities.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in real estate accounting, with strong exposure to office, residential, and industrial asset classes.
- Prior experience overseeing outsourced/shared service accounting teams is required.
- Expertise in GAAP accounting and financial reporting for property operations and construction.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics D365 preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
