Seeking a Capital Solutions Operations Associate!
Company Information:
A prominent American multi-strategy investment management firm is looking to expand their middle office team! This is a lean team that will have the opportunity to work across all of the firm’s strategies.
Job Description:
The Capital Solutions team handles all PIPEs, non-public private investments, syndicated loans, distressed loans, direct lending loans, crypto, convertible bonds, warrants, etc. trading and life cycle events for the firm. The Capital Solutions Operations Associate will assist the team with:
- Trade and Life Cycle Processing – Assist in the settlement process of private trades/corporate actions, collection and review of closing documents, book trades and life cycle events in HBC shadow books, reconcile positions with custodians and fund admin.
- Cash flow management – processing external wires related to private transactions, monitoring cash settlements, and reconciling cash breaks.
- Liaison with fund administrator, custodians, agents and companies to resolve any trading, cash, or P&L issues.
- Assist with internal custodian asset transfers.
- Update and complete the procedure manual.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- One to five years of operations, settlements and/or reconciliation experience
- Demonstrated track record of problem solving
