Summary

The role is newly created, will report into the Controller, and is responsible for the accounting, reporting and operational activities of the firm’s management companies. The firm is aggressively growing, and this role will sit on a small team and provide a lot of potential for growth and development!

Job Description:
  • Responsible for the accounting, reporting and operational activities of the firm’s four management companies.
  • Manage the Accounts Payable process
  • Assist in the implementation of new vendor management and accounts payable system, including its integration into General Ledger System
  • Budgeting, Forecasting, Expense analysis
  • Manage vendor relationships and overall vendor management
  • Quarterly billings to portfolio companies and Funds
  • Assist with various allocations of third-party service providers
  • Assist with monthly close process, annual expense budgeting and forecasting
  • Interaction with various teams across the Firm
  • Participate in technology and process initiatives
  • Assist Finance team as needed
  • Ad hoc requests and projects

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Asset Management experience
  • 2+ years of corporate accounting or audit experience
  • Ability to operate in a team oriented and fast paced work environment
  • Strong Excel skills
