Summary

The role is open to a candidate out of any industry who has strong corporate accounting and managerial experience that is able to operate in a high volume environment. The role is newly created and reports into the CFO!

Job Description:

• Oversee small team of accountants

• Manage the accounting and reporting of the Management Company

• Review all workpapers prepared by senior accountant

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of quarterly and annual financial statements

• Work with the CFO to develop the firmwide budget and forecasts

• Oversee the recording of expenses and monitoring spending

• Prepare budget reports and estimate future needs

• Prepare cash projections

• Manage the employee expense reporting process

• Participate in projects and Ad-hoc reporting requests


Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

• CPA strongly preferred

• Financial services industry experience preferred

• 5-10 years of management company accounting experience

• Experience managing jr level staff

• Ability to operate in a fast paced environment
