Summary

The role will play an integral role in providing budget vs actual and ad hoc reporting to senior management, assist with performance analysis, and work on process improvement projects. It will provide a high level of exposure to senior management and different business across the firm, as well as a lot of room for upward mobility and growth!

Job Description:

• Develop capital expenditure cash flow budgets by monitoring actuals against budget

• Work with the development team and asset management to accurately forecast development expenditures and cost to complete cash flow profiles

• Analyze monthly operating expenditures against budget
• Collaborate with Underwriters and Asset Managers in order to determine cash flow needs and the availability of cash to distribute out to investors or recycle and invest in new deals

• Reviewed property manager’s monthly operating expenditure drawdown and prepared the monthly capital expenditures to be submitted to ownership for funding.

• Prepared and reviewed quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Review quarterly investor reporting and ad-hoc investor communications and requests
• Provide budget vs actual and ad hoc reporting to management and business heads to review budget planning, performance, and cost saving initiatives


Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-5 years of FP&A experience
  • Financial Services experience
  • Strong modeling skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Work well in a team as well as independently
