As the real estate portfolio continues to rapidly grow and evolve, we are looking for an additional member of the team to take our quantitative analysis to the next level. Every day, you will have the opportunity to work with a small team of real estate and financial professionals with then goal of providing accurate and thoughtful analysis to senior management to empower decision-making. You will be exposed to all elements of corporate real estate including site search and evaluation, legal negotiations, design and construction, budgeting and forecasting, and move/migration. By being part of a variety of projects, you will hone your problem solving skills and adaptability.

 


Job Description:

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist manager in running the annual CSRE business plan and budgeting process
  • Collect updates from approval process, analyze adjustments required to annual budget and
    create materials for monthly budget meeting.
  • Work in coordination with the latest Accounting policy to update real estate specific cost
    booking guidance for real estate team
  • Develop dashboard/report and process to monitor cost booking codes and implement
    remediation plan with materiality considerations
  • Develop budget vs actual reporting for regional real estate managers to enable timely reforecast and budget adjustments during the year

Real Estate Portfolio Analysis and Management:

  • Create financial models for the evaluation of new office locations in coordination with local
    brokers, consultant expertise and broader real estate team inputs
  • Prepare monthly reporting for Senior Management and Trading Businesses on real estate
    portfolio to inform decisions
  • Perform seating allocation analysis based on headcount forecasting from Finance and planned
    seat capacity changes
  • Assist in gathering of requirements and providing metrics driven real estate program to inform
    the layout and design of new office spaces
  • Work with Business Strategy, Technology, Legal, and HR on the assessment of potential new
    office locations; includes participating in market analysis, premise evaluation, and lease
    negotiation
  • Manage creation and timely submission of real estate metrics for Finance senior leadership
    dashboard
  • Participate in team-wide projects with the autonomy to innovate and develop new ways to
    analyze the business

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in Financial, accounting, real estate or other related fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field
  • Advanced quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Highest standards of accuracy and attention to details
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (Pivot tables, macros)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, including presenting ideas both in written presentations and
    to small groups
  • Organized and able to navigate a constantly evolving environment while remaining composed
