Job Description:
Role Overview:
We are looking for a colleague to join our Credit Fund Accounting team with a focus on the closed-end Special Credit Funds.
Responsibilities Include:
• Prepare schedules and supporting package to reconcile quarterly NAV and waterfall with the administrator
• Prepare, review and maintain performance calculations (ROR/IRR/MOIC/DPI)
• Work closely with the administrator to reconcile parallel books and records
• Prepare workpapers for quarterly reporting; including transparency, regulatory and risk reporting
• Assist with preparation of quarterly financial reporting and year-end audit report
• Prepare supporting packages for capital call and distribution notices
• Participate in technology initiatives
• Complete ad hoc requests and projects from senior management and investors
Requirements / Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in a related field
• 5-7 years of professional experience ideally in both public and private accounting, or at an administrator, with a focus on Credit and/or PE
• CPA preferred
• Technology skills – advanced Excel skills required (e.g., pivot tables); technical and data management a big plus (e.g., Power BI, waterfall allocation tools, VPM etc.)
• Strong attention to detail; analytical mindset
• Desire to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Organized, flexible, detail-oriented and quick learner
