Summary

The role will sit on the Investment Team, and work to support the underwriting, execution, and management of various investments, primarily related to transportation, and infrastructure assets. The position will be responsible for performing due diligence, preparing investment packages, determining investment strategies, and assisting with the financing and, sourcing of investments. It will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial models, and overseeing and supporting all financial analyses related to the business, including asset utilization reports, gross margin, expenses, and EBITDA.

Job Description:

• Perform asset, company and industry due diligence, including risk assessment and quantitative & qualitative analysis of business and market trends.

• Oversee FP&A and the development and review of detailed financial models

• Conduct financial modeling and analysis incorporating various business projections and capital structures

• Assess project-specific financial, business, and market risks with critical documentation review, modeling, and expert outreach.

• Develop and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each operational area and function within the organization.

• Source, screen and secure new investment and joint venture opportunities

• Interact with management teams and key stakeholders.

• Provide thought leadership on various projects and transactions based on investment objectives and overall market conditions

• Network and develop new investment ideas and opportunities to grow the business.

• Oversee preparation of investment committee and advisory committee materials

• Prepare and present business performance reports and budget-to-actuals to management, the advisory committee, and other key stakeholders.


Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate institution
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite to include Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of NetSuite a plus
• Superior financial and operational modeling, quantitative skills, and due diligence capabilities
• Self-motivated individual focused on building a business for long-term growth
• Dedicated team player with a strong sense of ownership
