Job Description:
• Own departmental expenses including the recording of accruals/reclasses
• Liaise with senior leadership to determine accruals for certain line item expenses.
• Analyze trend reports and variances
• Provide related commentary to management
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and analysis
• Ensure Internal Controls for area of responsibility are operating effectively
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency of existing processes and propose enhancements
• Participate in ad hoc projects
Requirements / Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree
• 3-6 years of accounting experience, public or private
• Extremely competent with Excel, SAP a plus
• Ability to thrive in team oriented environment
