Job Description:
- Preparation of accounting entries into general ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Rollforwards of key account balances on a monthly basis
- Review outstanding collectible balances and coordinate with fund accounting counterparties as appropriate
- Prepare various forecasts and ad hoc analysis on an as needed basis
- Preparation of regulatory filings for submission to respective international regulatory bodies
- Work closely with controllers and external auditors through consultation and preparation of workpapers
- Enhance and automate reporting capabilities of company’s general ledger
- Research relevant accounting pronouncements and regulatory rules on an as needed basis
Requirements / Qualifications:
• BS or MS in Accounting, CPA license or all four exam parts passed
• 2 to 4 years’ experience in relevant jobs, asset management financial or private debt/equity sector preferred
• Strong analytical and communication (oral and written) skills
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Experience with Workday general ledger a plus
• US Citizen or otherwise free and clear authorization to work in the United States
