Job Description:

A multifaceted role with a strong background in trade lifecycle of Equity Swaps, IRS, FX and Options trades. The candidate will be part of a team that rotates responsibilities but is wholly responsible for a number of crucial processes. The forward facing role interacts with professionals firm wide and globally. The candidate must be detail oriented and innovative. They must be skilled at time management and able to pivot throughout the day. The candidate will operate fluidly between multiple products and supporting multiple desks.

• Confirm trades with counterparties and internal stakeholders
• Ensure trade details are accurately captured in relevant systems
• Monitor and reconcile trade settlements
• Investigate and resolve all trade discrepancies or issues
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate trade settlements
• Act as a liaison between trading teams and counterparties to resolve pricing/risk/allocation inaccuracies
• Monitor trade flow from electronic trading platforms (Bloomberg, TradeWeb, etc.) and Affirmation Platforms (MarkitWire)
• Act as process owner for current functionality and provide critical support regarding enhancements to technology, workflows and processes
• Manage relationships with counterparties, brokers and other stakeholders involved in the settlement process
• Daily processing of hedging and conversion transactions
• Ad hoc projects and request as needed


Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, or a related field
• 5+ years’ Experience in derivative trade support
• Technical knowledge of derivative products including but not limited to Equity Swaps, Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), Credit Default Swaps (CDS), Options, Futures, Total Return Swaps (TRS) and FX Forwards
