Job Description:
- Overseeing the operations of the accounting department and handle all accounting functions
- Oversee the preparation of timely monthly financial statements and reports
- Lead annual audit with external auditors and related information as needed
- Preparing and filling a variety of tax fillings, including sales tax and business property tax filings
- Lead the finance/accounting team by developing them and help coach them and hire talent as needed
- Work with Ad- hoc requests and special projects
- Help external accountants with preparation of tax returns
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 10- 15 years ofc experience in corporate accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting and compliance policies
- CPA is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Has to be very goal-oriented
- Excellent at working under-pressure
- Extensive experience with partnership accounting/ taxation
