Job Description:

 

  • Work closely with investment professionals within the firm to thoughtfully leverage their relationships, time and expertise.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of investors to strategize with members of the portfolio management team regarding new product development opportunities. 
  • Develop a superior knowledge of investment strategies in order to represent them to institutional investors.
  • Identify and cultivate long term relationships with the institutional investors in N.A.  
  • Engage with the hedge fund, real estate and private credit teams at each institutional investor.  
  • Maintain highly consultative and solutions-based discussions with prospective institutional investors; serve as a strategic advisor in communicating product offering while addressing broader asset allocation needs.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Client Partner Group to support and augment their business development efforts.

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience along with a proven track record of raising and maintaining institutional assets in North America. 
  • Current experience working within a traditional asset management firm, hedge fund, real estate firm or private credit fund with responsibility for representing the firm’s products  
  • Superior general analytical ability with deep knowledge of the broader alternative investment industry 
  • Demonstrated success in roles of increased complexity and responsibility.
  • Willing to spend significant time traveling.
