Job Description:
This role will sit on the trading desk with the portfolio manager and fully support the front to back trade lifecycle for a wide array of products including complex derivatives.
Responsibilities will include:
*Trade Allocations
*New Security Analytics
*FX Exposure
*Execution Follow Through
*Post Trade Valuations
*P&L Calculations
*Booking of Trades
*Corporate Actions
Additionally, the Trading Assistant will work closely with various business areas of the firm including Senior Management, Compliance and Investor Relations.
The new hire will also contribute to the implementation and roll out of new technologies, enhancement of processes and procedures and contribute to the cross training of new employees as the company continues to expand.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Seeking candidates with approximately 1-2 years of experience in Operations from a competing buy side fund, fund administration firm and/or investment bank. Prior experience with derivative products is required, ie. Interest Rate Swaps, Credit Default Swaps etc.
Estimated Base Salary Range: $85,000-$95,000 + Performance Bonus
